Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with colleagues and utilize various curriculum resources to create objective-based lessons aligned to current NYS learning standards.
• Actively engage students in the delivery of high-quality instruction.
• Differentiate instruction to meet the academic needs of all students.
• Utilize data to inform instructional decisions.
• Establish a supportive classroom environment that provides for the social-emotional learning of all students.
• Grade student work and maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and grades.
• Effectively communicate with parents and students regarding academic progress.
• Utilize Microsoft Office 365 and OneDrive to communicate with students and staff.
• Attend required meetings and participate in professional development opportunities.
• Provide instruction that reflects the diverse educational, cultural and linguistic backgrounds of the students served.

Job Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:         

• Must possess or be eligible for New York State Certification in Business 7-12
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

• Preferred candidates will be knowledgeable of VE and DECA
