RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Experience facilitating/participating in CSE Meetings
  • Provides individual/group counseling for classified students
  • Responsible for reviewing/drafting bilingual and monolingual psycho-education evaluations
  • Interpret assessment data in culturally and linguistically appropriate ways
  • Responsible for assessment of the learning environment, including observation of behavior and direct and indirect data collection
  • Knowledge of federal and state special education regulations (IDEA, Part 200 Regulations)
  • Experience conducting FBAs and Development of BIPs
  • Experience in crisis intervention
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess problem solving skills
  • Must have knowledge of IEP Direct
  • Must be skilled in verbal and written communication, and have strong interpersonal skills
  • Must be flexible, adaptable and be able to manage multiple priorities

Bilingual Teaching Assistant - CTE Construction Program202B-25-26

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide instruction to individual and small groups of students.
  • Assist students, under the direction of the teacher, in the safe use of construction materials.
  • Utilize personal skills to assist in the instructional program as directed by the teacher.
  • Provide the teacher with information about the students that will assist in the development of appropriate learning activities.
  • Implementation of behavior modification and other data collection.
  • Participate in professional development activities as directed by administration.
