  • Plan lessons, keep records of grades, correspond with parents, etc. 
  • Integrate competencies, goals, and objectives into lesson plans 
  • Provide instruction that is inclusive of the diverse educational, cultural, and linguistic backgrounds of the students served 
  • Support structured literacy classroom practices 
  • Provide intervention to small groups of students in grades first through fifth  
  • Provide reading evaluations for students who demonstrate the need for extra support services 
  • Provide individual remediation in reading in conjunction with IEP Reading and Language Arts goals 
  • Assist in coordinating and administering annual achievement and diagnostic testing 
  • Participate actively as a member of the building leadership team 
  • Provide consultation to classroom and support staff as needed 
  • Participate in school district Annual Review meetings 
  • Has the ability to interpret/utilize data to make informed instructional decisions 
as per PMCT contract
Assistant Group Leader #9898-26-27

RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Making sure the children are safe and happy 

  • Help with disinfecting protocols 

  • Assist the students with their homework, serve snacks, etc. 

LOCATION: Various Schools

HOURS: 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. and/or 3:15 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.

Special Ed Aides Part-time #7777-26-27

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

·         Follows directives of classroom teacher in specific ways to support students.

·         Collects data for individual student's behavior programs.

·         Maintains confidentiality of student(s) by directing parents to speak with classroom teacher.

·         Assistance/supervision with all activities as instructed by the teacher.

·         Support to navigate the general education classes.

·         Ensure supervision of assigned student(s) at all times.

·         Assist in the preparation of instructional materials.

·         Discuss students' progress with the teacher(s).

·         Coordinate with classroom teacher to determine daily tasks.

·         Assist in the implementation of the student (s) IEP as directed. 

·         Assist students by providing proper examples, emotional support, a friendly, patient attitude and general guidance.

·        Confer with teachers as needed concerning programs and materials to meet student needs.

  • Other responsibilities as delineated by your immediate supervisor.
Salary:  $20.93 per hour
              $22.64 per hour with verification of 60 college credits (official transcript is required)
 
Shift Time: Various, 3 1/2 hour shifts
